To remove two dashes from the email signatures for all identities of your accounts:
Tools > Options > Advanced > General tab
OR
Menu Icon > Options > Options > Advanced > General tab
Click on the ‘Config Editor’ button (you may be warned to be careful!)
In the top search bar type: separator
Look for this line: mail.identity.default.suppress_signature_separator; false
Double click to toggle ‘false’ to ‘true’ or right click on line and select ‘Toggle’
Close config editor
Click on OK to save changes
