Run the following networking commands in an Elevated Command Prompt.
Do one of the following, depending on which version of Windows your PC is running:
– In Windows 7, click the START button, type CMD in the search box, right-click CMD in the list, select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR, and then select YES.
– In Windows 8, click the START button, start typing CMD, right-click COMMAND PROMPT in the list, select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR, and then select YES.
– In Windows 10, click the START button, start typing CMD, right-click COMMAND PROMPT in the list, select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR, and then select YES.
Once the COMMAND PROMPT windows has opened, type the following commands in the listed order:
– Type NETSH WINSOCK RESET then press the ENTER key
– Type NETSH INT IP RESET then press the ENTER key
– Type IPCONFIG /RELEASE then press the ENTER key
– Type IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS then press the ENTER key
– Type EXIT then press the ENTER key
Now SHUTDOWN the PC – don’t choose the restart option.
Go make a cup of coffee or tea, come back and turn the computer on.
